Sustainable Development Task Force of Snohomish County

The Ferrill Residence

Architect: Pelletier & Schaar

Builder: Dan Wickstrom

The Ferrill Residence is a custom built home located in Standwood that is using Faswall®  insulated concrete forms (ICFs).  Made in Oregon from mineralized wood waste, Faswall®  insulated concrete forms offer a recycled content alternative to polystyrene ICFs.  On January 27, 2012, Snohomish County’s Sustainable Development Task Force offered a rare opportunity to see them installed (pre-siding) on  this custom home.   The Task Force had the opportunity to hear comments from builder Dan Wickstrom and architect Dave Pelletier about working with them.
